Today I will be sharing steps I took in styling my home for the fall season. As a Texan for the past 18 years and as much as I looked forward to summer each year, there is a season I look forward to more. Which is the fall season. The weather is cooler, there is a breeze in the air, and the beautiful changes in color to the leaves. I really started taking the time to decorate my home for the fall season for the first time last year. This year I will take you along to see how I decorated my living room, bedroom, office, and entryway for the fall season. Some of the items used to bring it all together include the use of ceramic pumpkins, fall florals, and throw pillows.
Bedroom
In the bedroom, my base colors were white and the traditional burnt orange color for fall. To add some traditional fall elements. I styled the bed using some throw pillows gifted to me by a brand called ekka moderna. The color was the perfect shade of burnt orange and popped perfectly next to my duvet set. A steal from the project 62 line at target. I also purchased a vase of faux goldenrod arrangements, candles and added green and yellow velvet pumpkin. To style the nightstands. This completed my fall decor in the master bedroom.
Living Room
In the living room, I purchased some pumpkins from amazon. I hand-painted with gold acrylic paint to tie in the gold elements I have in my living room. I have posted the tutorial on how I handpainted the pumpkins on my here. While at a Stop at my nearest dollar tree and I purchased some faux floral stems to complete the coffee table styling. To decorate my entertainment center, I purchased some floral stems in colors red and green from hobby-lobby. To bring a little bit of fall element into the room.
Entryway
I really did not do much in the entryway. While shopping at hobby lobby, I found a bronzed shaped pumpkin that I knew I had to have. For texture, I placed a bunch of white pampas in a white ceramic vase. To warm up the silver metals I included a gold decorative box.
Office
For the office, I pulled out this classic ceramic pumpkin a score from home goods several years ago. It gave the room a little touch of fall without being overwhelming and taking over the room.
I hope you enjoyed my thoughts on how I styled my home for fall and if you see anything that might be of interest to you. I have it linked on my ltk
