Fall Home Tour-style tips and ideas

I know i am beginning to sound like a broken record, but fall is my favorite season friends. Living in Texas it is mostly hot and humid. So I welcome the cooler temperature fall brings each year. Today I am sharing my fall home tour- style tips and ideas you can incorporate in your home. Last year for my fall home decor I incorporated a lot of the traditional fall colors. You can read all about it here. This year I am deviating a bit from that. The vibrant colors of the mums used in decorating my front porch was carried into the house for my fall home design. You will note that I used a lots of vibrant colors, in my choices of faux flowers, the various texture of created by the blankets and pillows to create a vibrant fall home tour moment in my home

Front door

The wreath and plants from the previous year were left in place to create a green colorful base. I also added yellow and purple mums to bring in some color. Then added orange and white pumpkins for added texture and warmth. This completed the front door look.

Kitchen

In the kitchen, the only update I made was adding some yellow fall stems to the counter top next to the stove top. I cook often and do not like to have my counter top cluttered with too many decorative items. On the Kitchen island I added a bouquet of burgundy faux flowers in a white ceramic vase. Which created a nice contrast of colors.

Living room

On the entertainment center, the candle I previously had in this spot was removed. I replaced it with a ceramic pumpkin with the word thankful written on it. On the center table, I retained the gold mirrored tray, and added in a black vase with purple faux floral stems. On the end table, I placed a white floral vase on it for some neutral color.

Foyer table

On the foyer table, i placed a bronze pumpkin on the stack of coffee table books. While looking doing some last minute shopping, I found this brown vase at Micheals. It was a love at first sight moment. In it I places this dried stems another Micheals find to complete the space.

Primary Bedroom

In the primary bedroom I added in new pillows to bring in some fall colors to the bedroom. On each of the nightstands, velvet pumpkins in colors yellow and green were placed for texture and color. The pillows have striped designs and a beautiful brown leather which is warm fall color. Next to the pillows I added a white velvet pumpkin. Then I placed a burnt orange blanket at the foot of the bed.
