One of my favorite things to do is creating a styled table concept. For thanksgiving this year I unfortunately won’t be home, so I won’t be hosting as usual. We will be visiting by brother in love and spending thanksgiving with him and his family. I still wanted to create a moment, that hopefully will serve as an inspiration for others. So although I won’t be hosting thanksgiving this year in my home. I still wanted to put together a thanksgiving tablescape to inspire anyone looking for ideas for how to set their table for thanks giving.
Thanksgiving Table-scape Design
To create a neutral base, I started with a white runner that spanned the length of the table. Over the runner I placed a green and white garland. The garland was purchased online and I was having doubt about the quality prior to receiving it. It turned out really beautiful. I most especially l loved the white roses on it and how dense the foliage was.
To create height and add dimension to the table. I added a set of candelabra in rose gold.As mush as I like to play with height and dimension. It is always important for your center pieces to not be so high or tall. That it prevents your guest from been able to see or talk to each other across the table. The goal for me is to have conversation flow easily between your guests. With this in my mind did not place any candles on the candelabra. I placed three pumpkin shaped metallic candles on the garlands. That can be lit when dinner started.

Place Setting
For my place settings, I wanted to play with earth colors and used white to create a contrast. I started with gold chargers, then placed a brown 14 inch dinner plate, then a white 12 inch dinner plate and lastly 10 inch salad plate. On each of the table setting, I placed decorative pumpkins. Last year, I hand panted this faux pumpkins with gold paint. It came in handy when putting this tables cape together.
