The appreciation for life and loved ones was really highlighted for me this past year. Experiencing all the upheaval that has happened has brought it to the forefront of my mind. How important it is to celebrate our loved ones while we have them present in our lives. I am choosing to celebrate the mothers in my life this Mother’s Day a little differently this year. This Mother’s Day I am celebrating my mother and my sister, who is about to be a mom for the second time.
The task of being a mother often comes along with lots of questions and very few answers. My sister is in the process of adding another child into the mix of a family of 3. She is very much excited and nervous. This Mother’s Day I want to send her some words of encouragement. Letting her know that I admire her not only as person, but also as a mom to my nephew. Also that she is doing a phenomenal job and I will be here to support her in whatever capacity. As she transitions from been a mom of one to a mom of two children.
