Skincare routine for Dry and eczema-prone Skin

As a skincare enthusiast or a product junkie as my husband would like to define me. Having dry and eczema-prone skin tends to make my skin sensitive to numerous skincare my products. An occurrence that predisposes me to always searching for the next best thing out there.

Before jumping into the details of my routine. two important things to note are hydration and diet. Great foundations in any skincare routine. also, very important if you have dry and eczema-prone skin.

A daily routine should include the use of a cleanser, toner (acid), essence, moisturizer, and sunscreen.

My go-to cleansers are the Neutrogena hydro boost line are my go to’s. Between the gel cleanser and the exfoliating cleanser with microbeads.

It cleanses the skin without stripping off moisture and leaving you with an ashy grey cast on your face.

An important thing to note when cleaning your face is to always cleanse for 60 seconds.

Then I tone with the ordinary 7% glycolic acid toner, another gentle yet effective treatment. Its works by exfoliating the skin and improving skin texture. which is important for skin that is dry and eczema-prone.

Following the toner is the use of a skin essence, the Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence.

This is the holy grail of my skincare routine. A cost-effective and hydrating essence is a necessity for dry and eczema-prone skin. The essence is made from 96% snail mucin, which works by repairing skin, tone, and brightening dull-looking skin.

Most importantly it helps retain moisture onto the surface of the skin. Another vital need for dry and eczema-prone skin

Following the application of the essence, the next step is to apply a moisturizer, the body shop’s Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturizer.

A lightweight gel-based moisturizer helps by given skin radiant and hydrating boost.

The last and most important part of any regimen is the use of a sunscreen CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion AM with Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30. It is lightweight and does not leave a gray mask of black skin.

A recurrent theme, if you have not noticed, is that most of these products help retain moisture and reduce hyperpigmentation.
