As a family unit, we are always on the go during the weekdays. My goal is to always make a big sit down and eat breakfast on the weekends. This Turkey sausage, Eggs, and Cheese Biscuit Casserole has become a staple in my home. My Son whom on occasion can be a picky eater loves and my husband who tends to favor our cultural based foods loves it also. This is a dump all ingredients in a bowl and bake kind of recipe which I love. With this recipe, leftovers can be warmed in the microwave for a minute for on the go breakfast during the busy week.
1 (16 oz.) can Pillsbury Grands flaky layer biscuit
1 Eckrich skinless smoked turkey, cooked & chopped
2 cups shredded Colby & Monterey Jack cheese
1/2 cup milk
salt & pepper, to taste 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper ( optional)
Put sausage in a bowl of water and microwave for 1 minute
Chop sausage into chunks and layer on biscuits
Pour 2 cups of shredded Colby & Monterey Jack cheese Wix 6 eggs, 1/2 a cup of milk, and spices for 1 minute Wix gravy and cup of water, until mixture, is free of lumps Pour egg and gravy mixture over the cheese, sausage, and biscuit. Cut leftover biscuits into chunks and layer over mixture Bake for 45 -60 minutes, until biscuits are cooked thoroughly.
